Welcome blossoms with cherry beers
By Lore Croghan / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS At the Brooklyn Botanic Garden some cherry trees are already blooming because of the unseasonably warm weather. The Cherry Blossom Festival is scheduled for April 28 & 29. Norman Y. Lono for New York Daily NewsThese trees were gifts from the mayor of Tokyo in 1912, and they blossom with beautiful pink-and-white flowers that reflect the spring sunlight to dazzling effect. It is becoming difficult not to be reminded by Washington's Cherry Blossom
