Singer Andy Williams dead at 84
Williams, 84, was a three-time Emmy Award winner, the face of the Grammy Awards as emcee for the first seven years of its televised broadcast, and host of his own Andy Williams San Diego Open PGA Tour from 1968-1988. A La Quinta resident since 1965,The singer, who died at 84 on Wednesday, had a show on each of the three networks.
