Latest News We obviously don't have the funding to help build a visitors center — and we've never been asked to help; i Breaking News.But the Chimney Rock about which we are concerned this week is a prominent geological rock formation — two dramatic rock pillars visible from the Pagosa Lakes.Chimney Rock encompasses hundreds of Ancestral Puebloan archeological sites within the shadow of its soaring twin spires. Few more ancient and ethereal places exist in all of America.
