Memorial Day: A Day of Remembrance
And special recognition will be given to St. Johns County veterans who have died since Veterans Day 2011. Monday's speaker will be Lt. Col Richard Vargus, US Army, Vargus retired in 1995 after 21 years of service in the US Marine Corps and the US Army.The Owego Veterans Memorial Committee invites the community to observe Memorial Day.
