Olympic Games 2012: Twitter Takes Center Stage in London
LONDON – The United States women's team won gold with a score of 183.596 at the 2012 Olympic Games at the North Greenwich Arena. Russia earned silver with a 178.530 and Romania took bronze with a 176.414. China placed fourth with a 174.430.•Gold medal. The Opening Ceremony of the 2012 London Summer Olympics drew a record 40.7 million viewers to NBC Friday, despite complaints about tape delays. All told, the first three nights of coverage claimed 35.8 million, also a new high.
