The retired NFL star linebacker died of apparent suicide Wednesday leaving his mother in shock.The former Charger Junior Seau, one of the best linebackers in N.F.L. history, was found dead in his home in Oceanside, Calif., on Wednesday, apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the police said.
